| Of all the fancy schmancy restaurants in Los Angeles (where we live), we will definitely be returning to LaRustica when we are in Seattle. My boyfriend, orig. from W.Seattle, took me there during my 1st visit to Seattle. It was romantic, beautiful, and very delicious. He's been to Italy and I got the impression that until I get to go there, LaRustica is the next best thing. The restaurant overlooks the water and if you go in the summer, you can watch the wonderful, everlasting sunset until about 10pm. |

| We must have missed something | |
| Friend and local West Seattlites rave about La Rustica. Over the last 10 years of living in West Seattle we have gone several times or ordered take out. Every time we have eaten there we are terribly dissapointed with our meals. Over priced, heavy leaving us with indigestion, and ingredients/flavors that don't seem to compliment each other. We have eaten at fabulous Italian restaurants in Seattle and abroad. This one does not stack up for our family. Maybe it is a regional cuisine that we don't care for but everything seems over the top. Not simple and fresh like the Italian food we have grown to love eating in Italy. Glad folks really like it but we have to take a pass on this one. |

| Great Italian Food At A Reasonable Price | |
| The manicotti is always a favorite for me. Plus, who can argue with endless breadsticks?? We've always had great service, great food. My only complaint is that the small square footage of the restaurant makes some sitting arrangements uncomfortable. |

| La Rustica... best in the West! | |
| My wife and I moved here from So California recently. We heard great things about La Rustica. We eat out a lot and this is by far the best food we have had. We go there at least once a week and everyone who comes to town goes there with us... the reviews are all the same. Everyone raves about it!
It is a MUST for anyone who loves good food and generous portions!

| Not Family Fare | |
| We have been to La Rustica several times in the past and have enjoyed the food and cozy atmosphere of this neighborhood restaurant. However, our last visit was with our 5 year old son and the reception was less than friendly. I found the attitude of the server to be pretentious and she was not interested in our table at all. For the record, we eat out a lot with our son and have received comments from diners about how well behaved he is. This experience turned us off, but it still is a fantastic place for a date. |

This just might be the greatest restaurant in Seattle. From the romantic ambience to the homemade recipes, La Rustica is Heaven! If you haven't eaten at La Rustica you are missing out on one of the last treasures we have. Amore!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Must have been a bad day | |
| My wife and I dined recently at La Rustica with high expectations but were disappointed at the mediocre food. Amateur servers greeted us and described the specials. I ended up ordering their "feature" special the slow roasted lamb flank in balsamic vineager. The marinade was extremely strong making it difficult to taste the meat. Although, the meat was very tender and flaked off the massive bone it came on. On the side was a bland tasting marinara sauce on overcooked pasta with less then room temperature steamed vegies. I thought the restaraunt was cozy but a bit to small for an relaxing dining experience. Once the business picked up I was frequently annoyed by the servers bumping my chair when walking by. I would recommend this place for a summer time snack of brushetta and a cup of soup in the outdoor seating area but for no more than this. |

| This truly is the best restaurant that i've been to in my life. I would encourage anyone to spend and evening here whether it be for an aniversary,prom,birthday or even just a casual date. the owner is a very nice man who cares about every one of his customers. I give this restaurant three thumbs up! |

| What can I say? If you have ever been to Italy and miss it. Go to La Rustica. The view w/ outside seating in the summer is a bit romantic, and the food is the real authentic italian cuisine. Make sure you go on a night when the owner is there as he checks on every table with his true italian charm. This a MUST on our list! |
