| Very Impressed | |
| Sure it's not your 4 star restaurant... but that's not what I was looking for nor is that what it advertises. You want good food in a quiet, clean environment.. you got it. I loved the friendliness of the two brothers and the food was wonderful! Because of "tummy" issues, I'm usually not able to eat deep fried things. He cooked a piece of fish for me "on the house" to try and see if it was easier on my stomach. It was!... and I would have never known if he wouldn't have gone out of his way to let me try it. They were very personable and I will DEFINITELY be going back there again. Very good food! Oh... and the clam chowder was excellent as well! |

| Great food -- Try the salmon! | |
| Sunfish has the best fish and chips in all of Seattle in my opinion. I go frequently and have never found the service rude. My favorites are the fish kabob and the salmon and chips. What a deal on the salmon! Wild caught coho too. Can't beat it. |

| Best Fish 'n Chips in NW! | |
| There was a time when the best fish 'n chips were from the Spud. Unfortunatly due to changes in management their quality took a nose dive years ago. Then it became Ivar's on Pier 54 (still okay). When we found the Sunfish 3 years ago we were back in heaven! Like the fish 'n chips I remember as a toddler on Alki 60 years ago, truely GOOD f 'n C's are back! We've also tried the chowder and combos...all hard to beat! |

| My favorite Alki food destination | |
| Whenever anyone asks me for a place to eat at Alki I ALWAYS recommend Sunfish. If you've had Spuds and never tried Sunfish, you owe it to yourself and your tastebuds to try it. Only then will you realize what fish and its condiments can taste like when done well! The food is delicious and it's worth enduring whatever you have to for great seafood! If you've seen Seinfeld you know what I'm talking about (all I'm going to say is remember ordering the soup). The place doesn't feel greasy to me, it feels fresh and light and a great place to take anyone for a meal. Enjoy!! |

| Undercooked fish, in your face comment. | |
| Quality is superior, too bad they don't cook the fish, is this suppose to be a Sushi bar? Recieved undercooked fish, wrapped it to take home to cat. Heard another customer order and request well-done. Owner whipped back, "I know how to cook fish!" Lack of quality control with a quality product. |

| They still aren't serving sunfish there the l | |
| I liked them better than spuds. I'd go back again. The owner is funny because he yells at his son in front of everyone because he forgets a lot. CASH ONLY. |

| good fish! | |
| I have heard many great comments about Sunfish, so I thought I would finally try it out. This really is the best fish & chips in West Seattle. If you haven't tried it, you should! |

| Sunfish Seafood | |
| You must eat here if you come to Alki for fish and chips. I don't know why Spud's is the destnation of so many. Maybe only because it's an historic landmark? The truth is the quality and taste is so much better at Sunfish. At spud you get tastless fish, salt and grease for your money, At Sunfish, you get flavor--like someone cared about how the fish tasted with the tarter sauce and fries. The tarter sauce could sell on it's own. The cole slaw is a perfect accomptiment to the fish and fries.....any you know what?...it even tastes good cold! Mike and Peter, the owners do a great job and I an glad they're here. |

| Worth The Wait | |
| You may have to endure long lines and rude service, but the food IS the payoff. Wow! Is there anything better than getting yours to go and crossing the street to eat on the beach? I think not! |
